Sign in with your Rivian account
Enter your Rivian email and password once. MFA is supported. Your credentials are encrypted with Fernet (AES-128-CBC) before they ever touch the database.

Rivnly starts tracking automatically
A background worker polls Rivian every 15 seconds while you're driving, 30 seconds while charging, and once every five minutes while your vehicle sleeps. Drives and charging sessions are detected and logged on their own.

Privacy isn't a bullet point.
We built Rivnly because we wanted this for ourselves — which is why your data never leaves your account.
- Encrypted at rest. Rivian credentials and phone-command keys are stored with Fernet encryption. The key lives in an env var, not the database.
- No ads, no analytics sold. We don't sell, share, or monetize your driving data. Period.
- You own your history. Export full CSVs of every snapshot, drive, and charge from Settings — no row limits.
- Leaderboard is opt-in. Nothing about you shows publicly until you explicitly join and pick a handle.
- Delete anytime. One button in Settings wipes your account and every record.

Is Rivnly affiliated with Rivian?
No. Rivnly is an independent project built by Rivian owners. It uses Rivian's unofficial API — the same one the mobile app talks to. "Rivian" is a registered trademark of Rivian Automotive, Inc., and Rivnly has no formal relationship with Rivian.
Is my Rivian password safe?
Your email and password are encrypted with Fernet (AES-128-CBC) before being written to the database. The encryption key lives in a server environment variable, not in code or the database. We never log credentials.
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. The free plan gives you the live dashboard, drive and charging history from the last 30 days, drive and charge complete emails, and one vehicle — forever, with no trial and no credit card. Premium ($4.99/mo or $49/yr) unlocks unlimited history, vehicle commands, badges, stats, the leaderboard, fleet tracking, OTA notifications, unlimited vehicles, API keys, and full exports.
Can I upgrade or cancel any time?
Upgrade whenever you want more, downgrade or cancel whenever you don't. Your data stays intact if you drop back to Free — you just see a 30-day window instead of full history until you upgrade again.
Which Rivians are supported?
Every R1S and R1T, Gen 1 and Gen 2. If your vehicle shows up in the Rivian mobile app, it'll show up in Rivnly.
What if Rivian changes their API?
We update Rivnly. The API has changed a handful of times and we've shipped fixes quickly. Because the API is unofficial, we can't guarantee zero downtime — but we watch for breakages and respond fast.
Can I send vehicle commands (lock, wake, frunk)?
Yes, with phone-key enrollment. Most commands require Bluetooth proximity (a Rivian security constraint), but WAKE_VEHICLE typically works remotely.
Where is the data stored?
In a managed Postgres database hosted in the US with daily backups and encryption at rest. Every query is scoped to your account — your data never mixes with anyone else's.
How do I delete my account?
Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. One click removes every snapshot, drive, charging session, badge, and leaderboard profile associated with your user.
